Nipperfect Storage

This cabinet was screaming for some personality, and since where I’m from we love Nipper, I had some Nipper-inspired stencils created by local artist Little Yellow Desk, A splash of color, some structural work, and you have unique storage.
Settee Time

For this project, I found the fabric first. Having fallen in love with the print, I just needed the right piece and I was so excited to find this settee at a local antique dealer’s shop.
Unscripted

What an absolute honor to work on this piece. A near and dear piece for the owner, whose wife purchased it decades ago with the intent of breathing new life into it, I was thrilled to be trusted with this bench. Work included stabilizing back legs and seat, and building a new cushion.
Rose Gold Nylund

Free furniture can be hard to pass by, and I’m so glad I didn’t leave this one for someone else to snag. Shortly after it came home, my mom asked for a filing cabinet and I was thrilled to update this for her as a Mothers Day gift. This project was my first décor transfer, first stencil, and first time installing slide rails. View a video of this project here.
No Need To Be Jelly

This client loves jelly cabinets, so we worked together to find the perfect piece that would be transformed and used in her home as an end table or nightstand. Inspired by her love of the Sweet Dream Swirls piece I’d previously done, the result is this beautiful cabinet. View a video of this project here.
Sweet Dream Swirls

When you live in an apartment, you can’t always customize your space as much as you’d like, and this client wanted to add some of her personality to her bedroom with a custom nightstand. Since she loves nature, and previously lived in Hawaii, I decided to go with this watercolor wallpaper reminiscent of a beautiful sky. You can view more photos here.
Teal It To My Heart

I purchased this Hoosier cabinet without having any plan for it, but it was such a good deal I couldn’t leave it at the antique store. When a dear friend was moving into a new home, it was turned into a homewarming present. Bright colors and puppy print – what’s not to love?
Sew, You Work Here Too?

This sewing cabinet turned desk makes working from home way more fun (or at least colorful). This client loves Indian patterns I had so much fun researching to find the right print. You can view more photos here.
Origami Oh My

Available for your home. Would I put a bird on everything given the chance? Yes. But this time I put birds in it, too (what a change of pace, right?). Taking a bird cage purchased many years ago, it was transformed into a cloud light with origami birds. You can view more photos here.
The World Accordion To Garp

Couples project for the win! My better half and I found this accordion sewing storage at an antique center during an impromptu road trip, and decided it would be perfect to hold art supplies in our house. Also, named for a John Irving novel/one of my husband’s favorite movies, The World According to Garp. You can view more photos here.
Chair Thee Well

Know what goes really well with desks? Chairs! After dropping off the completed Sew, You Work Here Too? desk, the client asked for a matching chair. You can view more photos here.
Ultimutt Dog Bed

From dresser to dog bed with storage, this quick weekend project was so fun to work on. Off to a family who’d just rescued a puppy, I’m pretty sure Groot was sad to see it go. You can watch video of the transformation here.
